Wow, so today I was awakened at 9:30 by Halvie's voice, I brushed my teeth, got my backpack and ....I'm still here.  Still. Still at the computer lab. whwhwhwhw, my body screams in pain as it aches.  why you might ask?  Because it wants to play and run and dance,  but alas, it cannot, it must sit motionless behind this piece of plastic and type, type, type. ha, Actually, it has been so long since I have had to cram for something that its kind of fun.  I think I will miss that when I graduate.  I already miss staying up all  night for tests.  ITs something that you hate, but you love. I love the feeling after you take your test and you feel like you have just climbed a mountain and know you are descending to your bed.

Thanks to all who came and danced at my suprise birthday dance off.  It was awesome.  All the people I love, dancing.  Puts a smile on my face.  Beforehand, Linds, linds, and Caylee took me to Aspen and told me that since I was 22, they thought I should have a little more serious birthday than my usual adventures so they were going to sit around and affirm and encourage me.  Now, I love talking, the question game is one of my favorite, and I love corny affirming chats, they're a amazing, but I would have to say that I was a little dissapointed. because they know I love being blindfolded and made to do funny things and what a perfect time, on my birthday! So, they tricked me pretty well and it was pretty funny :)

I am amazed at how loving our Lord is.  We spend the minutes of our lives so selfishly obsessed with our self-interests, bent on using God to help us feel better and encourage us and give us things.  Then when it all come crashing down and we are not fulfilled anymore by what we are doing or how people are reacting to us, we come crying to God, when all along we should have been seeking fulfillment only in him.  However, instead of allowing us to suffer for this, he just comforts us quietly and gives us the peace that surpasses all understanding and then gently chides us and begins to mold us again.  I am so thankful for that!  I just wish I didn't go through a continual cycle of it you know?  Oh, that I wouldn't stray.....

Hi guys!  I have decided of today to not go to Costa Rica next semester.  I am really bad about making rash decision because I get so excited and want to immediately do something! You'd never know huh.  I think I really made these plans without the consultation of Jesus and a couple of days ago decided to think and pray really hard about it because its now time to start the passport process, shots, etc. and I'm not suppossed to go!

I am actually really excited because I get to spend one more semester in Stillwater!  Lately I have been so passionate about Stillwater.  What a great place! I am so incredibly blessed to be here! Why cut it short a semester?? Exciting news though, I think that Jamie Billman ( yeah Jamie Billman!) maybe Megan Hurlemin are going to go teach English overseas all next year!!!  If anybody has heard of any good spots let us know!  I have no desire to settle down in Tulsa next year with a regular job. I want to do something crazy!  Sometimes I look back over an email I have written and discover that I have used an exclamation point after every sentence, sorry guys for the excessiveness! but I just feel that they convey the enthusiasm I have to be posting on Xanga!  Woo hoo! Rejoice in the Lord for he is so good!

Yo baby you, lately during a lull in activity at the Chi Omega house, I've been trying to flow.  Flowing or should I say flowin' is pretty tough, so far every single word at the end of the phrase rhymes with the one before and they dont' make sense. but its really fun and I feel like the more I practice the better I'll get and teh more comfortable I will be with my soulful side.

Look out for the name Heather Binkley.  She is an aspiring writer that is going places.  Her fav things to write are romance satires and children's books about Witches.  Basically, she's the coolest girl in the world.

Isn't that scary to know that someone had my exact name????ahahehheahahahwhahahahaa!!! Thats how I feel about going back to Stillwater tommorow.  Sooooo excited!!! I love school!  I really do guys, I really do.  Most people hate rush, I love the fact that I get to hang out with all of my sisters for two weeks. you guys are beautiful.  I also get to live in an old gigantous stone house in a swanky basement. Well, its not swanky yet, kind of mildewy, but by the time decorating genuises, wanty, Julie, and I finish with it, its going to be posh ( what does that really mean?).  Its actually going to look pretty wierd. Right now I have this awesome green lamp with golden naked babies on it.  Guys, i had no clue about the babies until I had it in my room. I was deceived by Grandma Pat.

Another beautiful thing happened today.  I decided to move from race walking to biking and I happened upon a Schwin road bike at a garage sale for $ 7!!!! whoppie dooo!!! Now all I have to do is buy some padded spandex biking shorts.

Because this is my last semester in the blissful land of the Cowboys. Caylee and I started compiling a list of things that I have to do before I leave.

1. lemonade stand on Monroe

2.  swimming in Theta pond

3. weekly jam out sessions on library lawn

4. spending the night on SU roof (this time we are going to stay all night)

and I can't remember the rest. if you have any more good ideas, let me know. God is so good!!! may we praise him in all of our ways

No guys, this isn't a modeling ad, its actually my cabin 3rd session. Yeah cabin 1!!!!!!  I'll definitely miss Waterworld and hopping across lilly pads while ribbiting and pretending to be a frog and the foam pit thats really warm because everyone pees in it!
So I'm home in Tulsa and I have been keeping busy so far by reading, making pillows, thrifting, and hitting some awesome garage sales. I almost don't know what to do with myself because I'm not working.  I've had at least one job since I was 15 and this is definitely the longest period of time that I've gone without any kind of work.  its great though because I'm able to do all the stuff that I never have time for like painting! and I'm going to refinish a desk.  We'll see how that goes and I'm kind of learning how to cook! yeah, now someone will marry me someday!
I still can't run so I have been racewalking around my neighborhood. For those of you who haven't tuned in to watch racewalking in the Olympics, you definitely should.  Racewalking isn't just walking really fast.  There is a very unique form an athlete must develop to be an effective racewalker.  here are some rules if you wanna try!
1.  Your leg has to be straight ( no bending of the knee) when you advance forward with each foot
2.  You have to rotate your hips in a horizontal motion
3.  you must be able to shake your butt vigorously, thats the sign of a good workout!
4. Your arms should be pumping with fists reaching your shoulders
5.  Finally, just a helpful hint, when I race walk, I kind of feel like a chicken-- so if you feel like a chicken, your probably heading in the right direction

Everyone should try, its healthy, its unique, low impact on your knees, a lot of old men do it professionally, and you always get funny looks from your neighbors

As my english friends say, Cheerio! annie
